By placing an order on our website, you agree to the following terms:
All prices are listed in DKK and include 25% Danish VAT unless otherwise stated. We accept common payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, PayPal. Payment will be charged at the time of order. Secure transactions are handled by Stripe (www.stripe.com).
Once your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order, but acknowledges receipt. The final agreement is confirmed once the order has been shipped.
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on location and order size. Free shipping may be available on qualifying orders and promotional campaigns.
We currently deliver to Denmark and selected EU countries (see shipping page for details).
Delivery Time
- In-stock rugs: 2–5 business days in Denmark, 5–10 days EU-wide
- Custom rugs: Delivery time is typically 4–6 weeks (you will be notified of expected delivery dates).
Orders are shipped via trusted couriers such as PostNord, GLS, DHL, or UPS. A tracking link will be provided once the order is dispatched.
Delivery Issues
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of receipt with photos and order details.
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven).

We strive to describe and photograph products accurately. However, due to the handmade nature of our rugs, slight variations in color, pattern, and size may occur. These are not considered defects.
All products are covered by the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven). If a product is defective or not as described, you have the right to claim a remedy within 2 years of purchase. This means that depending on the specific situation, you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, refunded, or receive a discount on the price. You cannot invoke defects that become apparent more than 2 years after delivery of the item. It is, of course, a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damaging behaviour. Please note that normal wear and tear on surfaces is not covered by warranty. Any defects or deficiencies in the received item must be claimed within a reasonable time after they are discovered or should have been discovered.
Please contact us with order details and photographic evidence of the issue. We would like to assist you as best as possible, and therefore, you are welcome to contact us as soon as possible if you wish to make a complaint.
Vaevet is not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to strikes, war, natural disasters, pandemics, or courier service disruptions.
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes will be settled by the Danish courts.
